FISH SPECIALS

Our commitment to freshness means our products are prepared upon order and are never subject to freezing. Upon delivery, please refrigerate all items immediately and enjoy them within 3 days for peak flavour. For those looking to enjoy our products at a later time, freezing is an option. Prior to cooking the frozen product, thawing is essential. This can be easily done by immersing the product in lukewarm water for awhile or a leisurely overnight stay in the refrigerator. 

For Otak Otak

Pan Fry

1. Remove the contents of the vacuum bag and empty into a bowl. If the product has been frozen, immerse in lukewarm water till it thaws and then empty contents into a bowl. 2. Mix the contents in the bowl well to refreshen marinade. 3. Add 2 Tbsp oil in a frying pan and heat on medium to high flame for about 5 minutes. 4. Once the oil is hot, add the otak parcels into the pan. 5. Cover and cook on medium flame for 5 -8 minutes on each side till brown. 6. Remove the parcel from the pan and to a plate 7. Open the banana leaf parcels to enjoy the fish!

Steam

1.Put your steamer on the stove for about 5 mins. 2. Remove the parcels from the vaccum bag and place in the steamer. 3. Cook for 15 minutes. check by peircing the parcle with a thin knife or tooth pick to see if the fish is cooked through. 4. once done, take the parcels out of the steamers, open and enjoy!

For Fish Fingers

Deep Fry

1. Remove the contents of the vacuum bag and empty into a bowl. If the product has been frozen, immerse in lukewarm water till it thaws and then empty contents into a bowl. 2. Mix the contents in the bowl well to refreshen marinade. 3. Add enough oil in a deep frying pan and heat on medium to high flame for about 5-8 minutes. 4. Once the oil is really hot, add the fillet into the oil. 5. Cook on medium flame for 5 -8 minutes till brown. 6. Remove the fillet from the oil and to a plate lined with paper to absorb the remaining oil. 7. Serve with fries and lemon for the perfect fish and chips.

Air fry

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C). Spray the basket lightly with oil. 2. Remove the fish from the vaccum bag and the marinade. 3. Place the fish down inside the basket. 4. Cook for 7-9 minutes, or until the fish is flakey and cooked through.

For Prawn Burger Patty

Deep Fry

1. Remove the contents of the vacuum bag and empty into a bowl. If the product has been frozen, immerse in lukewarm water till it thaws and then empty contents into a bowl. 2. Mix the contents in the bowl well to refreshen marinade. 3. Add enough oil in a deep frying pan and heat on medium to high flame for about 5-8 minutes. 4. Once the oil is really hot, add the fillet into the oil. 5. Cook on medium flame for 5 -8 minutes till brown. 6. Remove the fillet from the oil and to a plate lined with paper to absorb the remaining oil. 7. Serve with fries and lemon for the perfect fish and chips.
